Future Technologies
One thing for sure is that technology is being developed that will continue to impact dramatically on our lives both at home and school.
There are some amazing developments in the world of glass - some of which are already in use in education such as our Interactive Table at Clayfield College, Touch Screen IWB in PrePrep and 'The Cube' at QUT.
There is going to be increased connnectivity, personalisation and with that comes increased importance on the key concepts of digital citizenship.

3D Printing
3D printing is a key emerging technology in the fields of manufacturing, medicine and education. Imagine if you could 'print out' a spare part to a car, or send file to third world countries containing the design to a life-saving water pump that could begin printing at the click of a button. Imagine printing joints or heart valves to be used in operations. While print times remain lengthy, the cost of printers, the range of materials that can be used and the time it takes to print 3D models are improving very rapidly.
